In my teenage years (1990’s) I decided to go after a Batman theme on a Great Planes Ugly Stick (.40 2 cycle size). For the Batman logo I traced over a shirt, the rest was drawn out with pencil lines and then carefully masked. The covering for the plane was done in Sig Silkspan sealed in dope.

    The lighting system was done with flashlight bulbs and the 6-cell battery pack was mounted to the underside of the fuselage. An internal switch turns the lights on whenever the throttle is reduced to below 50%.
